Default Would this board work?

My TC fets just fried and I'm thinking about upgrading and going "hobbygrade". I was looking through here and saw people mentioning micro-t boards and motors but wasn't sure what to get.

I found this and was just wondering if it would work and what else I would need to get with it.

that board can be used but you will also need the rx made for it and fid a way of fitting the brushless motor into your xmod

a better way is to use a stock losi micro board , that way you can still use your normal xmod motor

So if I got that board I would also need this then?

Is there any place that sells the stock board or any places that sell the evo boards? I've tried google and ebay and some of the rc hobby part sites.

Thanks for the help, though if I didn't want to spend the money could I just buy the AtomicMods FETS upgrade for the evo and be fine.
Edit: would I need anything else to go with the board, like a servo for steering?

yep you could do that or the atomic v2 board is easy to install and will let you run much faster motor

just keep an eye on those capacitors

Alright the only thing I'm a little hesitant about is the V2 board says it outputs higher power and can overheat motors, is that just because of the power cells or batteries being used, cause I use a set of Duracell 1000mah rechargeables 1.2v each and they put out some serious power. I can run my GT-R with stage 2 motor and lights a good thirty minutes without any loss of power.

If you get that board you will also need the servo for the plug and wires, unless someone knows where to just get a plug like the 5 wire stock servo has.

Thanks, I think I'm going to replace the FETs and possibly do a 2x2 stack, at some point I might get the V2 board to run a faster motor.

You may also consider getting your board worked on by one of the service providers on this forum .

I might trust a guy that has a skateboard related picture I've thought about it and still might do it but it's one of those if I don't do it myself then
I won't learn much.
So basically if I bought the FETs or V2 board you or somebody else could assemble it for me, or would you replace the FETs if I just sent the board.

Lol well its up to you I didn't know there was a prejudice against skateboarders!

Hey if you want to give it a shot I'd be happy to help with some pointers. Its good if you want to learn and feel up to trying on your board but a lot of people prefer just having someone experienced do it for them. Neither way is wrong. I am just here so that if you decide to have someone else do the work it will be very affordable.

FETs are included with my service. $10 a stack FETs included. If you want to provide your own supplies like FETs or V2 board then that can be arranged too.

Lol you mistook me, I skateboard as well. Not bad on prices considering to buy new FETs from them AtomicMods would cost me about the same and I's have to put them on. I'll think about, right now I don't have the money anyways so doesn't matter what I choose to do .
