I can't recall ever having a problem with the stock motor, no. Sorry to hear yours had problems; you should contact Traxxas, they'll replace it if it's still under warrenty!

You could do either of the first two. Calling would probably answer your question a lot sooner than an email would.

Too much. Her birthday is next month and I'm barely out of debt from Christmas!

I honestly had to turn off my speakers from that last video. The music was horrible.

At least you commented on the horrible music instead of my horrible driving. I'll take that as a compliment.

I assure you it's not my favorite song either, but it's certainly better than some of the songs Photobucket has to offer. Next time I'll do something on WMM or another free trial of Vegas instead of Photobucket for some hopefully better music.

Spent the better half of my Sunday cleaning the motor used on my Stampede. Actually, I didn't really want to do it, but I was forced to since my motor wasn't running as well as it usually does..

After two hard years of abuse, the motor finally said it's time for a cleaning.. and boy was it right!

The following is a quick poke at the positive magnet inside the can. Ever wondered what happens when a motor gets really hot and burns up/off the comm. drops? Well, it turns into a horribly sticky and ugly black substance. Fortunate for me, I was already wearing black shorts to wipe my fingers on.

That's how dirty the inside of the can was...

And just for kicks-and-giggles, here are two comparision shots of a 540 wound armature next to a 130 blank armature.

The 540 armature is an Epic 17 double turn armature. The 130 is obviously blank.

Oh yeah, runs like a new motor again. All it took was a good cleaning.

Thanks.

Over-exposed body, blah..

Favorite body angle for foreground, background I'm not fond of.

Better background, but the body angle I'm not fond of.
