Since Hurricane Fay is making it rain here like crazy, I went out tonight when it stopped raining and boy was it fun, but my Pajero is a mess, and I flipped it on the street trying to beat my younger brother and his New Bright. I won of course, but his NB just floated over the water! Wht!?!?!
Sorry for the 2 fuzzy pictures without flash.

Lol thanks. Yea, that Pajero is the same body I have, but that's where the similarities end. Mine has solid axles, the one on RPP Hobby is stock Tamiya with indy front suspension, etc.

Thanks. I have fog lights, but they weren't on since they fell of last time.
It got chipped a little above the corner light.
A New Bright is a brand like Nikko, etc.

Duh. It comes as a kit, and you need the electronics, like radio, battery, etc.

Thanks. Actually, it is like that all the time, since it was painted with car paint. Cadillac Pearl White I think.

I can see Mini Pajero there next to it....Big Pajero would have to help Mini Pajero through the deep water though....unless Mini Pajero had floaties on....
I found this RC Car I got along time ago....and I think it is a Pajero...with no back on it...I'm fixing it and charging the batteries to take it off roading tomorrow! Unless it has a low geared setting...which i don't think it does....I'm screwed!! To bad my Nikko Hummer's reverse is fried....it could pull it....

I was actually thinking about the Pajero on Rpphobby.com until I saw you need the servos, radio, and electronics...

Is the Pajero you have a Tamiya?
The one on RPP is a great deal, but you can buy RTR ones for at most $250.

Aero, you need a winch on it. That way when your brother's New Bright gets stuck, you can save him. Lol.
Oh and I don't see that fishing pole!

Went out again to the same place but I made a video. My little brother was there with his New Bright with a tapped Hummer body on it. It was pretty fun, until the end after going through the puddle, my Pajero died.

I think I fried the receiver, because it doesn't turn or drive. I tried to blow dry it, but then when I turn the wheel it accelerates? Any ideas? I hate to shell out $50 for a new Futaba R153 receiver.

You might have just plugged in your JST plugs incorrectly. ESC goes to channel two and servo goes to channel one. That should clear up your problem unless it's something internal.

Love the beat in your the song for that video! What's the name of the song and the artist?

Looks like the Pajero runs nicely, too. Good video.

[edit]
Nevermind. Rewatched the video to listen to the song and saw the name was in the credits.

Nah, it worked fine after that.

Thank you. It is called Testarrossa Overdrive by Kavinsky.
I think that the receiver might have gotten wet, causing it to fry..
Everything is plugged in right.

I wouldn't call it fried if you're still getting response.. Does the throttle turn the servo? If so, try switching channel one and channel two's JST plugs and see if that fixes the problem.

No the servo doesn't turn with the throttle. I am going to try again tomorrow, but I did get a response. When I turn the truck on the servo glitches for a second like it has always, so that's fine.

Oh no Pajero down Pajero down!!! Lol.
You ran it into the Hummer, and the scooter.... I can't believe that!

That thing does have some speed on it though! Is that your backyard...I wish I had some sand in my backyard too...instead of just patches of dirt.

Hope you can find the problem and fix it easily. I mean...i though it was water proof.
