Is this rreally worth talking about. I think everyone knows what an on/off switch does. PEACE. Thanks for the comments. 4cells = 8secs of driving, LOL.

I'm just wondering why you're using an On/Off switch and not a bypass system.

Clean build so far. The chassis is beautiful. I say you drop a servo, and lock the front steering, don't ask me how. Also, get a video of this up and running, I wanna see this shred tires. You must have a lot of money for this, because all your projects are using high-end parts. I wish I had that much for a project, oh the possibilities.

*** UPDATE ***

Okay, actually I'm way past this stage but I don't want to throw it all at you at once because that is to boring for a project thread in my opinion. Nothing to look forward to. So I will update photos of the next 3 stages seperatly.

Here is where I was 2 days ago. I didn't like the top plate so I made a new one and connected it to the rear end. It is very solid, and is one piece now instead of having the little piece in the front seperate.

Later I did a little painting, and locked my rear diff. I will be using a Mini-z board with a 2x3 fet stack instead of going brushless. I didn't like the clutter involved, but maybe Ill revisit the idea on a later project. (Also I got an Atomic Chilli motor ordered 2 days ago. Ill use that until I get my Redmade motor) (Also check out the Lady Luck decals)

More to come tommorrow.

The rims came with the Corvette model I'm using. What don't you like about the wheelie bar.

Ditch the wheelie bar, IMO. Doesn't fit with the Corvette body. Rest of the project is looking great! Definitely looks like the guts for a performer.

Well it's a dragster and one of my main goals is to get the front wheels off the ground so Ill need it if I am successful. If I can't get it up then I will definatly ditch it because I don't particularly like it.

The one you see there is solid steel. It is very heavy duty. Also the wieght for pulling the front up. But here's the deal, I am going to eliminate it until I know I'll need it ... Deal.

need moar pics

looks awesome so far...gotta love the vette.

I'm also one for the wheelie bar, it gives it some originality and helps the 'drag' look. Maybe add a fake parachute on the rear, and a cut off switch like the real thing :P

hmm. looked like a plastic wheelie bar to me.
anyways, maybe a real parachute?
that would be really nice.
is this going to use mini-z board or hobby grade with brushless?
EDIT: i see your v2.2 guess that means miniz board.
i thought your origional plan was hobby grade elecs...

*** UPDATE ***

Well I put it together and Had to repaint some stuff. I made the servo holder with the tabs from the F-150 sides in the body kit and some putty, then painted them red. Found a good home for a set of GPM shocks, and mocked up the PCB (Not wired yet.) (Thats the 2x3 fet stack)

Unfortunatly The servo wouldn't let the body sit low enough so I had to find a way to fix that problem. I didn't want to do it but I think it looks good. I used the package from the HS-55 to make the .... whatever you want to call it. Topping it off I dremel'd out the back wheel wells to give them clear space for the drag wheels. Again somthing I would have perfered not to do, but it came out nice.

The body needs to be re-painted anyway, so this gives me the oppurtunity.

NEXT UPDATE: tommorrow, Painted the body and some nice full Photos of body and chassis together.
