The money just kills everything! :[
Back to your problem, Most gauge issues can usually be traced to a grounding issue. All of the gauges supply resistance to ground dependent upon the parameters of what that particular gauge is meant to measure. Bla bla bla, but when gauges start going wild it is probably due to a weak ground, so when you use another accessory the already weak ground is disrupted further causing erratic gauge operation.

It's not that bad, for starters make sure you have a solid clean ground wire going from you battery negative to the chassis, then one from the chassis to the engine. The one that is probably screwing you would be either engine to chassis or firewall/chassis to dash. Most of the dash is metal but should have a ground strap on it as well.

I was about to say that. The ground for all the gauges in by the left kick panel, it ground 401. The turn signal/ hazard relay also uses that same ground. If the dash has been replaced I would guess they left the ground loose, or pinched a harness.

Nice find MODEL.

There's is a forum around on the web for this chassis type, look around and you can find it. Or I can give you the link to it. You might be able to find some of the parts your looking for through that site.

Those rims what size are they anyways? They really don't look that bad on it at all.I think their Falken Hanabi's and I have been looking for them. Get them on the Craiglist for sale or trade for 16's or 15's.

Join a club and I bet you can find someone real nice that will give you parts for free. Thats what I did! ahahah

I don't think I want to mess with the electrical parts, ergh. I'll see if bf knows anyone.
Or can i rent jimmy for a day? ;[

Air filter, stealing a CLEAN one from a friend, lmao.

The Falken's are 17s, and ya want em? I'm not going to keep them! Should be a interesting sell. New wheels all around and the rims themselves were 800 from what i understand. They said they were 'custom'.

Dont sweat the electrical, easy stuff that needs to be fixed before you worry about how it looks.

Really I'm not much of a honda person I just jumped on alldata real quick and looked for common grounds, as we suspected. My theory has always been a car is a car no matter who makes it. DC voltage is no different on a honda then it is on a chevy.

For some reason I thought you were a honda tech.

I do a little moonlighting after work but Texas is kind of far. I've never been to Texas I'm trying to get down their and see the sights, I have some friends that moved down. But I would hope you have this figured out before i make it down.

I started out as a Hyundai tech about seven years ago. But now I work for an independent on all makes and models.

Yeah, with Rustoleum paint.
If my roof continues to rust out it's going panda.

That's a D15B7(?).
It's pretty much a carburator with the fuel injected instead of sucked in. It's two points of fuel injection, not four as on most Honda engines. Swapping over from DPFI to MPFI (Dual Point to Multi Point) is good for about 10-15hp and doesn't hurt milage that much.

Wat.

I hope you don't actually mean that you had a fuel injected carburator?

I hope that you are just explaining it in simple terms for others to understand, because that is technically called throttle body injection.

Technically TBI is way simpler then a carbutator. Just one or two solenoids hanging over a throttle plate.
