HMMM, do you have to have the steering box on the inside, or outside of the frame rails? Can't tell by the pics. GM boxes are cheap, reliable, and plenty of grunt. Car steering boxes fit inside the frame rails, and are fairly compact. The truck ones sit outside (my C10), but are fairly large.

Maybe hit up some F1 forums and see what they have in the way of bolt on parts.LMC May have something.

Where did you get your headlights from? Looking to buy the same halogen conversion for my CST10 as well.

The steering box is on the inside of the chassis. Also the thing is limited room. It went from an In-line 6 to a V8 and when we get the exhaust sytem in, we might not have room. But, we definitely want power steering.

We got the halogens from our local AutoZone parts store.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.

-Ol'Rover, I'm not a big fan of Fords, not new ones anyways, but the old ones have alot more quality and me and my Dad like the body styles.

No problemo. Just don't question their definition of a "traditional" hotrod, you'll get an ear full (a 4.3L V6 is blasphemy to some in one guy's project, I object, but oh well I got an ear full).

BUT, they can answer things like the power steering, and the front axle flip and such. And anything else. Great guys, just don't cross them the wrong way

Just a couple updates. Nothing big. We ordered the blinker switch last week and it should be here soon. Once we get the lights working and it registered, we are going to drive to the muffler shop and get an exhaust system on it. My dad is going to purchase some Cherry bomb glassbacks.

We switched over to a key switch.

We might use these lights or get other onees.

Question: Would cherry bomb glass packs make the engine sound too ricey?

Nice! Thanks. I found a set for $50. We might check them out and if they are in good enough condition, we'll probably buy them. I'll try to get some sound of the engine when we get the exhaust system on.

Yup. Every kid and his uncle has one, so their over played. And their proven to have build some of the worse flowing aftermarket mufflers. I'll take glass packs or a good set of flow-through Turbo mufflers anyday (like whats on my truck)

We bought a welder! It is better than the one we wanted before.

It's a lincoln electric 180 hd mig welder. We are currently running flux core wire, but will get a tank soon for it.

Update:
-Bought some cherry bomb pipes
-Bought seat belts and hooked them up.
-Bought an Ebrake and hooked it up.
-We have temp tags for it.

I'll get pics later today when I get back from school.

I also came up with cool idea for paint-gun metal gary and paint the chrome parts black.
