No. Like I said, they're going to be on the Xmods Evo chasis. Otherwise there would be different upgrades.

They should run both Generation 1 and Evolution lines at the same time. They are 2 totally different cars, they would make much more money. Almost like the MR-02 and the AWD series.

One of the many things that kinda gets me is the fact that in the newsletter RS sent to the stores it said Xmods would return, "bigger and better than ever!" How in the world is releasing 3 new bodies on the same chassis, with the same upgrades "bigger and better than ever!"

If you ask me, this is the same as them releasing the additional bodies (Subaru, Nissan 350z...) during the Gen 1 line. Don't get me wrong, I'm as geeked as the next modder looking forward to the new GTR, but it's mostly misleading at this point.

Now, total speculation, but I was kind thinking RS could be just keeping us all interested in Xmods with these 3 bodies. Then after the first of the year, possibly the Spring of 2009, we could see another new batch to coincide with the new Fast & Furious movie. There could be our "bigger and better".

Probably not though...

they have same number of spokes but the style is different.
anyways, preproduction models are often half-assed. actual products will look a whole lot better.
