is this ur friend and u that all this happened to? its sad how people have no moral values and lie to get there way and are so selfish. but i think ur right though, all the info u posted is not private, u were given permission to do all that u have, and u are being harrased so other than being in trouble for stolen property u have proof ofd being threatened and harrased.
Edit:im gonna sticky this until the case is closed

thanks alot for sticky. i hope everyone takes time to read this. no i dont know this guy, but i feel his pain. im posting it on all the forums i know to get the word out. people NEED to learn that stealing does not get you what you want.

Dude, I understand what your doing.. But why make such a big deal about it? She left it in a cab.. finders keepers the person doesnt have to return it.. i mean that would be the honest thing to do.. but whatever I dont know what is such a big deal.

wow the ppl who took the phone are idiots first thing u do if u find,take,w/e a phone take the sim card of and throw it somewhere the buy a sim of somebody and no worries after that..goddam noobs..im not saying that i steal phones or condone it but its common sense

actually, calling one of their friends from the found phone is a smart way to contact that person. i'd never thought of that before when i found one... went looking for a couple hours.
as for this stolen phone... the act itself wasn't exactly really bad (it's just a thing... plus, i didn't realize the calling part either) but that reply email does the justice. kick his a**.
