Bondo's Build ('14-'15)
Ready to go and excited to have my hands on these little buggers again.
I'll be doing this from my phone so forgive me if I don't go into as much detail as I normally would. I'm still unsure of the total design but the first chassis will be steampunk themed. This is what I started with... Found a chassis, board and enough parts to cobble a roller together. Wired and tested the board and it works.

As you can see, the rear chassis stay is broken and I've never really been one to slap a chassis together and call it done so....
As usual, I'm a good bit farther along then the updates show. I've got about 85% of the chassis cut and drilled but I decided to start in with a body. I think I've got something figured out but we shall see if I actually use it.. Cheers,

I decided to take a break from the chassis and figure out what body to use.
I have a few options as far as xmod shells and a few dozen model bodies but most are too modern or fancy to fit the theme so I dug into an old box full of past model builds that I thought would never see the light of day.aka junk. to me, this pic just screams " I want to be a truck". So I found not one but two perfect candidates. both were finished models at one time and I think I tore both apart in a failed attempt to put one on an xmod years ago. Hmm.... I had to trim a little off the year fenders but here it is unmounted. While I was eyeballing mount heights I liked the look of the truck with a bit of a rake to it so I think this one will be a steam powered dragster. I think this the stance I'll be going for. (Still not mounted) Cheers,
