I also am a proud owner of a Traxxas Stampede XL5.
I have had this Stampede since my thirteenth birthday back in October of 06'. Current Upgrades: BOCA bearings throughout. Deans Ultras on battery and motor connections. RPM front and rear knuckles. Epic 17T motor. Since this was my first hobby-grade RC it shows some wear and tear of trying to do things I shouldn't have tried, but, it's gotten me here with no problems and still runs like a champ. I planned on going brushless with a MambaMaxx system, but, I now feel that is pretty pointless to do in a 1:10 monster truck. I'll save that money and buy myself something different; so, this is a completed project and just a great all around basher!
