Short little meeting with my friends and their cars
well, i'm not sure if this should be in off-topic or autos because i got elements of both in here.
well, here's the pics:    doin' freezes in front of our cars  sittin'  friend doing 1 handed float:  my rsx friend doin' an airbaby (2 hand)    and we found this pretty clean lookin' s2k in the parking lot too:

mine is visually unmodified. my friend al has a CAI, lowering springs, and the wheels. the other dude just has those wheels...which are fugly sure, it's rice, but really, i don't care. i have a nice looking car, and that's enough for me as it sits

In the first picture that Bus makes the whole deal man! Oh and just a question, why is it you two are doing freezes and the Toyota owner isn't? He's just holding his hands there... Never understood the whole "freezing" thing, never got into it, thought it was stupid, stuck with my guitar and played at shows when I was a kid, not any of this "freezing" stuff... Why man? Why? Blade.

the toyota owner can't freeze. he has never learned any freezes. and he tries to act gangster which often fails pretty badly
why? i'm a bboy. that's why. and freezes themselves aren't a "thing," they're a part of bboying, which involves freezes, toprock, downrock/footwork, and powermoves. but freezes are the only part of bboying that can be captured clearly in a still picture, so that's what we did. I'd like to ask, have you ever tried holding a handglide, turtle, chair, airbaby or shoulder freeze? yes yes, unhealthy for the environment, but hey, we're all touting 4-bangers. it's not that bad. none of us have v6's lol ss. i'm not into stickers and crap. that stuff doesn't interest me. i prefer clean styling, nothing too flashy. sure, it's imports, but it's not like, ricey imports. none of us have stickers or loud colored paint and we don't plan to ever. all i'm banking on is a set of lightweight wheels (17 inch), some good rubber, and possibly I/H/E. maybe turbocharging later on when i can afford it(5 years?)

God I don't know how many times I have to say it here.
Import does NOT equal rice. I used to think like that as well. Rice, is a mod that does not enhance performance. To put it simply.. the definition gets way way way deeper than that, but I will leave it there. That's a good looking group of cars.. although the wheels on the Celica, stock or not have got to go.. they are fugly.

lol ok.
i agree with the comment on the toyota's rims. they need to go. rims does not neccesarily = rice. stock wheels could be heavier than the aftermarket wheels, so the aftermarket wheels reduce unsprung weight. just a possibility.

Well, Alloy does weigh less then Steel. So yes, it would reduce weight. Yet you get those cars with the big blocks for rims, for example your friends Celica, and then bam. You've got "I'm 2 Bling 2 Slow" going on.

Imports do = rice, if they're true imports. Things are relative, and the people that are engineering and producing these cars thrive on rice. Wonder why they don't call our cars Cheeseburgers? I'm just kidding. I'd like some 360 pics of the Civic and the Tibby. The Celica doesn't tickle my fancy.

.. all imports are rice in my book.. some look ok but they got NO speed XD lol but thats my opinion and hey if you like it its cool by me.. we are all entitled to our opinions
