Capturing Xbox 360/PS3?
Does anyone have an experience with using capture cards or whatever for recording gameplay?
I really want to get into it, so I need some help. I need a capture card that has all the plugs for a 360 (non-hdmi, like so) And HDMI for ps3 (one of these) Also, what is the BARE minimum desktop I would need to be able to capture, edit, and upload to YouTube? I wouldn't use it for anything else. Thanks in advance.

Do camcorders have Audio video inputs like a vcr does? I used to do this back in the day with my ps2 and my vcr. If a camcorder does this would be your digital file with simple AV cables.
Am I making sense? |

Recording in 1080 is useless for the internet, and will consume copious amounts of hard drive. Just use regular RCA

Sorry for the double post, but here goes anyway.
If anyone else is wondering about this, I was told by a member on another forum to use the Hauppauge HD PVR. Here's some footage recorded with it, looks GREAT, especially for only spending around $250!
If you want to buy it, here's some links on: Hauppauge (Manufacturer's Website) NewEgg Best Buy
