Default project idea needs some pointers and whatnot

well, since i bought the new 3rd gen mustang and to console myself that i didn't wait 2 weeks for my RS store to come in stock with a GT-R( i reallly wanted the GT-R or the corvette) i decided i'll just save up and buy a GT-r when my store does come in stock w/ them. but whats the point of having 2 xmods w/ nearly identical performance. so i decided to upgrade both of them in a way so that there both different but nearly equallt fun. and i also decided to save money and since i can only drive one xmods at a time i will swap many of the upgrades between them that can be easily swapped, like a stage 2 motor or such. i came up w/ a plan to install soft springs front and back of my mustang for flimsy handling(like a amrican car) and to keep it rear wheel drive for bad handling as well and keep it faster than the GT-R as american cars are really only good in straight lines. wich means i would install AWD in the GT-R and do the recomended soft springs in front and hard in the rear. since i'll be able to swap a stage 2 motor easily i'll put ball bearings in the 'stang to give more than just a 2WD speed advantage over the GT-r. anyone else have any ideas how i could go through w/ this project??

Hmm well,If you go to XI and get a EVO Stg. 2 its going to be like 24 or 25 bucks...AWD kits arent to bad but i suggest..Atomicmods.com,Xmodsinternational.com,and Ebay for most of your parts..

So you want to be able to swap things out of one car into another...hmm....I would just suggest what reaper said. If you make the mustang a drag car, it goes fast and goes in straight lines. Or just make it fast, and leave handling and all stock. Then on the GT-R make it a drifter, or nice track car. Which means it will have a good acceleration, and a nice speed.

I noticed at my Radioshack they had Stage 2 motor kits out again. they had like 6 of them...but they were $15. They might bring other upgrades back out too, just have to wait a little longer and see.

Well for almost the same price as the Stage 2 on XI you could get a Supercharger.

Wow dude, wow... This would probably be a reasonable post if I actually understood what you were saying... Grammar and spelling go a long way, dude.

generally almost all american cars have no ground/tire feel, have a huge amount of body roll so leading to the term handles like a boat, and will lose traction earlier than other cars. thus the term European car handling, since european cars usually have the opposite of all that and japenese cars can vary between the two but generally stay average. such exceptions to these is the corvette z06..
BTW item swapping isn't a requirement, just a luxury i would like to have to save money.

That supercharger mod isn't needed. For what your doing. It gives ZERO torque, which is needed for both drag and drift. The mod really only helps dyno queens. Cant understand your original post, better grammar, seperating some of your questions and such would help all of us understand what your after better.

1.you can get only one set of liths for both cars, that will save some money.
2.get a motor with good torque so you can use it for both cars
3.buy the 40 pack of metal lugs from rs for $2.50 instead of nuying off the internet
4.dont listen to somebody that has almost 600 posts and has only been here for 2 and a half months and has a lot of questions themselves.

Look at your Xmods. Think, "****, what would be cool to do with these?" Come up with the idea and pursue it.
