Default Petition or not

I have heard a lot of talk around here about xmods coming out, and xmods going away, and pople starting petitions, I need to know, Are we starting a petition to RS? I was thinking instead of telling them to bring them back, to ask them to make new ones. So, to petition! or not to petition!

I dont think there should be a petition because the transformers came out and the parts will probably be available soon.

I really dont see any use. Radio Shack is going to do whatever they want and whatever feels best for their pockets. I say at least wait a few months and see if they are going to release new xmods before you go making another petition. Make one if you must, buy I think it will be a waste of time imo.

I'm not one to bring people down, but what will Radioshack do when a bunch of 'kids' comes up to them with a petition?

I think they're just going to laugh...

Build a better product, keep it cheap. All they need is better tolerances, and a slightly better ep system. Newer, lighter, less colorfull chassis design and then they would have a new hit.

That would be a hit for the veteran modders, but for the kids (who offen times don't give a rats hat about performance, but like the pretty colors and small parts) it won't be nearly as attractive.

I'd love to see a gen3 xmod...

Later,

Default me too

I would too... the customer no service lady told me that they were coming out with some new xmods around halloween. I'll see if I can't find the email she sent me...

yep! found it, ok, well, I use gmail so I'll just do this...

Ok, I couldn't exactly find what section to put this in, so bear

Recently, XMODS Custom RC have started thinning out, I was wondering if
you were making room for a new line or parts, or if you just are
increasing the value. Please respond to this as soon as possible.

Thanks!

So, I don't think so yet, but about a month ago people were flipping out because they were becoming less avaliable. So that's why I wanted to know.

I think they need to put more into add on car bodies like they did with the gen 1s.

I like the idea they had with the F-150, have 2 body kits, one for the stock color, and another have a different color body top.

Default eh,

Good point. So that way you could have a beater, and a good one. Or you could paint one, and leave the other one plain in case you screw up. But anyways....

I noticed 7 people say yes, but have not explained why...
I noticed 8 people say no, but are saying why.

All the people who say yes, speak out on this and tell us why?

What Radio Shack needs to do is make it more after market friendly. As in standard servo plugs. Possibly Hobby grade separated elecs. But for the most part, I want to emphasize after market friendly. Because, thats where people will be interested.

I agree with lilskipro. They do need to have more aftermarket parts avaliable. Whether it be to upgrade it or to repair it. like have their own metal wheel nuts, or the little D shafts the wheels fit onto, in a little drawer in the back dedicated to repair XMODS parts.
