Thumbs up AXON anti-gravity racer

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Check out this new form of RC from AXON Racing, the Razorback. Forget the hover crafts we've seen before, this thing is one *****en' machine (and absolutely freaky to watch slide around). Comes out of the box with dual brushless motors for lift and power, and capable of speeds of 25 mph! Upgraded motors later available will push the thing to 50 mph. Ready for street, sand, dirt and just about any other smooth surface. The RTR kit comes with a 2.4ghz 3ch radio, and 3 cell 1300 25c li-po pack.

Visit the website (http://www.axonracing.com) for pre-orders, HD videos and such. Will retail for about $249 and comes out later next month.

The UFO's are taking over!

this technology could actually be applied to cars. but if this thing floats with magnets, than thats something that millions of scientists have been researching, but the "energy crisis" has distracted them from it. this is pretty cool!

It's a hovercraft, the technology has been around for decades.

Certainly interesting. Hopefully they'll come down in price; I remember my little Nikko "hovercraft," it was actually pretty fun to drive. Dual motors powered the forward/reverse/turning movement and one motor controlled the floatation.

By the way, shouldn't this be in Miscellaneous Electric RC?
