I use no lube. I don't like the way lube attracts dirt....
I recomend Graphite Dust or DRY ICE, both which can be purchase at your LHS. DRY ICE is a teflon lubricant. Last a while, super-duper smooth, and none of them attract dirt and grime.

Anyway, if you only drive your car on the track, I suggest Team Associated's Black Grease. It doesn't 'fling' like other grease and its very good quality. Available at most R/C hobby shops near you! Mind you, its not that cheap. |

I am getting ready to get some of the "stealth diff. lube" in the next couple of days. Most everyone that runs a mini z around here use it and it can be picked up for around $2. Never used it, but i will give everyone an update when i get it and try it out

Its great! It should run noisy for a little bit, but once the lube gets itself evenly coated on the gears after a few runs, its very quitet! |

I use some sort of ceramic grease no name left on the tube but its used in the oil and gas industry to lubricate controll parts in panels. slick as snot and milky white.
