Checked out any gary fisher bikes?

I freakin love this thing. Light, great shifters. Brakes are strong, and the paint is amazing.

The RST hold well for some mild stuff. Ive never had any problems with it bottoming out really.

Just getta good lockout if you get a full suspension.

P1 looks alright this year, its made for DJ's and street if thats what you do. i havent really seen any of the kona stuff this year but all of those bikes have been decent bikes at their respective prices. go with whatever one has the best components.

I havent seen much of Kona either. Ive always like Gary Fisher bikes over specialized bikes, when their in same price range. I bought this one in 2004, its the Tarpon.

Check out the site, its gotta bike selecter deal. Basically you select certain characteristics you want, and what it will be used for, and it shows a list of their bikes that fit your needs. Try it a few times with different selections, sometimes bikes dont show that my also fit your bill
