Motor Help.
Hey, soon I will probably be ordering an aftermarket motor for my xmods truck but I cant tell which motor would be the best for my money.. Im looking on atomicmods and they give info like:
RPM @ 6V = 33,586 (1.3 Amp Draw) RPM @ 8.4V = 45,180 (2.0 Amp Draw) Weight - 18.94g But I dont really know what to look for on that^^^ If someone who knows what they're talkin about, can fill me in on what to look for when buying the motor or what all that means^ in the end, it would be a great help Thanks, bc_edition

motor help
the RPM's at certain voltage, say a car can put out 6 volts, this motor at that energy level will have 30k RPM's. but if the same motor ran at 8.4 volts, than it would have higher RPM's. the amp draw i don't know about. i think it's how much power a motor uses to run.

yeah the amp draw is how much load is on the fets i am pretty sure they tested xmod evo fets to not blow until 9 amps. so after 9 amps the fets would blow and u would need to replace them. please correct me if i am wrong

the xmods, with stock fets, are about 6v so you would look at those rpms. Make sure you look on the website motor description. it will tell you if you need a fet upgrade or not. I suggest the pn racing stock fet motor. Thats what i'm getting and i'll post a review when i get it.
