My new project 55 Chevy

This is my new project. It is a 55 chevy pickup. It's painted a dark metal flake green. Single stage automotive paint, sprayed with my airbrush. It's gonna have a flatbed. I was kinda thinking about making it look like an old tow truck.

Not bad, is it me or is the truck chassis shorter? well hope it turns out like you planned and where did you get those tires?

That is a hummer chassis. I have a f150 chassis also. Might trade the back spacer out on it. Tires are from a chevy truck model kit.

i tried making it once, but i painted it all ***. so my dad said soak it in gasoline to get the paint off. it worked, but i forgot about the car. so it also removed the car. no more cameo...

Yeah its a cameo, but I don't like the bed that dame with it.

The bed is a flat sided bed. I wanted a stepside but couldn't find one. The flatbed and rollbar you see sitting there I just fabbed up.

Yeh Id toss in the F150 spacer, gives it the proper look for atleast the SWB, otherwise looks really sweet.

If you have another stock top plate for the rear suspension, flip it upside down, and screw it with the regular plate. And now you have a mount for the bed:
