Is there a rock obstructing the servo rod thing? Take out your tierod and look under there.

Make sure your front assembly is secured correctly, check for any missing screws and replace them. Especially around the servo area.

Check for your stearing trim is in the middle and not pushed aside. Once you have done that, take everything apart, gears out and etc... turn on the car. Let the servo center and pop everything in as carefully as you can and close as the middle as you can. Re-assemble and see if it's any better.

Also, check your servo wires leading onto the board. See if any of them are loose or have even fallen off.

I think that's the reason, from sharp turning, the tierod can get wedged under the turning notch.

*Typo fix

Did you check the back of your remote with the "min" "max" knob turny thingy? If its not turned all the way to the "max" side, it won't turn very well.
