Body sizing question
Hi, im new here but ive had gen 1 xmods for a while, i have just ordered an evo and all the usual upgrades including lots of sets of wheels - ive got a thing for deep dish wheels and will be chopping and glueing to make some custom rims following some destructions i found in another thread.
My question is, i want to use my evo for a 'from scratch' project and i want to use a non xmods body shell, i have the mustang evo coming, does anyone know what size ratio body i should be buying? i know that it will take lots of jiggery pokery and modification to make a non xmods body fit but is it 1:10 or 1:12 or something different? Ive seen a few threads about this - like the lowrider thread for example, but no hints as to sizing. Any advice is greatly appreciated. |

This is a pretty common question and typically anything from a 1:24 up to 1:28 scale will work with minimal modifications.
There is a really good tutorial on mounting model bodies in the manuals section take a look at that and it should help you figure out what you need to do.

Hey, thanks for your reply
I want something like this - ebay listing - 250512980204 But im guessing the position of the wheels to body may cause problems, for what its worth im gonna order one and see what happens. This hobby stuff is getting expensive lol. Last edited by TheB1GDude; 10-23-2009 at 04:42 PM.. |
