Default Project: Spiderman

I took a sticker...

And started to build a Spiderman truck.

Here's Spidey:

With Spiderman Logo

Spiderman Logo

As it sits for now.

I'm working on a web right now, as soon as that's done, I'm going to add a spider or 2.

Rear with Spiderman and Marvel logos:

Take my Superman sticker idea?

Looks really cool, I'm suprised you didn't try to sculpt Spiderman out of cardboard.

Did you get that sticker at a doctors appointment? That's where I get all of my best stickers.

Cool idea. Must've been time consuming to cut him out, a lot of awkward lines.

My mom's dental office actually... I took 2 just for fun

I used a hobby knife to cut him out... not really fun. I messed up once on the arm though...

I got my Superman sticker at my doctor's office. I really want to know where they get them, I might get a huge bulk pack of Dora the Explorer ones for a future project.

I think you should. You could pull something really cool off if you bought a bottle of silver paint, black paint and white paint for an airbrush from your LHS and painted it on with a fine tip brush. I think it'd be pretty sweet if you did paint it instead of using tape.

if you wanted a spiderweb pattern from the getgo i would have sprayed the entire truck the color you wanted the web to be, let the paint dry, then heated up some 1/8 fineline vinyl pinstriping tape, striped off a spiderweb pattern then shot it the basecoat you wanted. it's easy as hell to bend pinstriping when you get it nice and warm.

I'm painting a web on the front of the truck so that won't be needed. And I've got a tounau on it so there won't be a roll bar.

Whee... With winter vacation leaving me with nothing to do (but worry about my soon to come report card), I've been working on Spidey truck

The web thing has been finished

Lights have been added
Got blue lights from XI.com, very bright indeed

3rd brakelight has been added...

And right about here, my camera battery died and I'm waiting for it to charge.

And for a random photo, dual rainbows
