Solid Axel
As Red knows, me and Cowboy are doing a truck project. Both of use are looking to make small, xmod-sized solid axels that will look scale, but will also be funtional and allow articulation.
This is for an upcoming project, but I need small, but strong, and fully sealed solid axels, any ideas?

the center driveline pole..??? it may need to be cut and then re-assembled... but it would have the right ends on it to hold tires.....

On the evo or the gen1? I'm only running Gen1 and various Mini-Z parts, so I need the part names specificly, so I can place an order tonight...
I thought about using the rear axel of a mini-z MR 02..

search around for SSMT axles. good luck finding some though...
if you go solid axle, you'll need a transfer case, and driveshafts with ujoints, etc. at which point, the only thing left will be the xmods EP, which is the weak point (servo mostly). just get an xmod truck and build from there, they've got lots of articulation or build a micro scale crawler from scratch: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60401 btw....it's axle |

It's pretty much from scratch. Anyways, I'm just asking here, as there are (some) crawlers here.....
I'm not even gonna use a xmod ep... Blew all of em... It's for sure gonna use a center tranny from a Micro-T...
