Default note about using a heat lamp to dry paint

first of all, I use all Testors paints.

Using a heat lamp is a great way to ensure a very even coat of paint, allows for very fast drying, and realy helps prevent the paint from seeping under any masking you've done.

It works especially awesome with airbrushed Acrylic paints, but it appears to have the exact opposite effect on Aeresol Enamel paints. I'm quite sure this is why my hood looks so crappy on my skyline. since it was the first thing to get painted, and spent the most time under the heat lamp.

just thought I'd throw that out there, so everybody can learn from my mistake....not just me
