Get closed bearings from VXB and shoot them with electric motor cleaner. (for larger scales) This will get rid out the crappy grease in the stock bearings... the grease slows the bearings down... the motor cleaner gets the grease broken down and allows it to seep out of the bearing.
After you do that you can buy some Slick7 Bearing Oil... I have some and it is very smooth. Lube isn't totally necessary..
