GPM parts are Aluminum versions of stock parts, they provide a more durable car, but most of them tend to weigh more,
IMO the only GPM parts that are almost NEEDED are
Gen1
Drivetrain (Front and rear axles and dogbones)
Evo
Rear Casing and Knuckles
Those are the parts I've found need the extra durability.
The GPM Gen1 Heat sink is also a good part to look at if you're trying to save ALOT of weight, also I hear the Aluminum version sinks heat away from the motor better than the Stage 2 version which I think is steel.
As an additional note the Evo Rear casing does a much better job of sinking heat than the "heat sink" but that doesn't mean the "heat sink" is worthless it still sinks heat, just not as much. XD
Also, might want to get some metal lug nuts, the plastic ones break easily, I'm about to get some because I'm almost out of the plastic ones, but yes they will add more weight.
If you're wondering how alot of people counteract the added weight, the solution is to stack your FETS and get a more powerful motor.
