I like some of their older songs. I do like their newest album quite a lot.
However, I do tend to shy away from popular bands such as Green Day. Bands nobody knows are way cooler.
Also, Disturbed and/or Godsmack does not equal screamo. That statement was full of fail.

A lot of bands use their music to express their opinions. Look at KMFDM, the majority of their songs are focused on their political opinions.
