Funny....
It was a successful venture in that i was able to put it together from a scratch hand built chassis. It was a Mamba/6800KV with very tall gearing and vibrated apart at high speed bench testing.
The whole "fastest xmod" thing really depends on your definiton of xmods in general....whether it the parts that make it "xmod" or the electronics that make it so.
I've been thinking of a real usuable high speed effort lately...a 1/24th scale project that could do 50mph ground speed would be an interesting thought experiment.
