actualy my track cars have locked rear differentials, i've found that as you go into a trun the outside wheel gains traction and the inside wheel looses alot of traction, most of the time causing it to spin faster then the outside wheel and it make the car not turn as sharp, and at a lower speed because most of the power is going to a wheel thats barely touching the ground, and spinning rapidly
