it would be a good deal if you never broke any parts, but since you're probably a harder driver than your grandma i'd suggest a more name-brand model because replacement part availability is better.

for a start, i suggest an HPI Sprint 2, Hot Bodies Cyclone, tamiya tt01, or Yokomo MR-4TC SD. the cheapest is the tamiya, next up is the hot-bodies and HPI as about even, while the yokomo is on the expensive end. belt drive is also less durable for street driving, but if taken care of, you shouldn't have any issues with pebbles cutting into the drive belts.
