Well I picked myself up a new xmod today. I didn't feel like making a lithium pack for it so I did a 6 cell. The first pic is where it has no motor in it or no tires, or the 6th cell
I've turned to the dark side, ahh 6 cell. And yes this time I ran outa heatshrink, so i wrap the first deans peg and then do a tape all around.

My take on the new evo is that it is even better. I like the idea of working harder to change something.The crystal problem is an easy fix if you can solder. Basically where the crystal port was soldered into, is where the crystal itself it soldered into, therefore flip over the board, desolder, drill the holes bigger, and solder in a new crystal
I've also noticed stiffer stock springs, and the rear knuckles closer to the car itself.
