actually it will work for alloy chassis as well. you just need to superglue plastic tube to the green bar that goeas all the way across in front of the motor. that way, the clips will still just clip right in as with a stock chassis
lexan windows does sound like an idea, but it would take some work for it to not to look like a hack job
