enamels sometimes spray thick out of a can. i would've gone with acrylic paint, but since you already have enamel, i can only say: thin coats.

If you need to speak to me I'll help you out, send me a PM.
I finished painting. Here is the masking pics, my mom made me get off the computer at like 9:30ish cause she had to use it. I'll have my laptop back soon. Taking pics of it finished soon, I also painted a 350z wing red, and and going for rims next.
It came out great IMO. I preserved details and all.
Only one negative, I'm out of black detail gloss paint. So I have to order it, but I'm outa money. So the details I left out (mainly vents) are off to the side, unless someone wants to donate.
I have to sand out some little issues here and there, cut off some excess paint, touch up some paint, and then finally paint rims. I wanna spread this out to see how little details make a difference, STL
Masked pictures:
I accidentally burnt a hole in the hood when i tried to melt out the windows, so I sanded it down and am going to putty from the reverse side, or just leave it there :P
EDIT:
I have one preview picture of the finished paint job that I took, good pics soon, including the wing
