You don't have to do anything to your pipe, you don't have to do the mod I stated above... I actually don't recommend it, since it doesn't allow engine crud to seep out of the exhaust stinger. Instead, try this:

It extends your exhaust stinger, as well, you can angle it differently, in a way it makes it harder for water to get in

Well, nevermind now, I doubt I'd need it because as you said, my exhaust wouldn't really need it. You are in Canada. You know what snow looks and feel like. Lol . People from Florida mostly have no clue about how snow is, no offense. So you would know what to do
