I am still getting it sorted out. I think I am going to put a Mamba max esc in it and maybe a brushless motor. It's going to be a trail basher.

Buy a cheap TQ2 rx and tx for like $25 and put a cheap tamiya esc in it. You will need one servo if you use an esc. You could get that running good with $100 if you snoop around and find some deals....

Might want to try softer springs or lay the shocks down more. You should be able to get more articulation from that setup. I am not much for the off the shelf kit rig either.

For 2.2 regs in comps. It's gotta be 8" long, 3" wide, and 3 3/3" tall to be legal. Wheelbase no longer than 12 1/2" long. Those rims are gonna be modded to use bigger screws and strip the color off...

Some poser shots! Djking I probably have about 6 hours in fabbing the chassis and links. Donzii the Mamba Max is for brushed or brushless motors and from what I have read the brushed motor delivers...
