well, u need to have the wire thru on both sides no jus on top of board, but it has to go thru and u sooder on top and bottom, its possible u use a drill bit to big for it and ruined the connection...

yes u can use cell fone batts in ur xmods, but i dont recomend it, after all the hastle in wireing to cell batts and figuring out how 2 charge them, it still wudnt be worth it, they wll be to heavy...

well i dont know much about Mini-z but i do know that u can only use a 130 or a 180 size motor in ur xmod...i wud get FET's because even if you dont need them u can run a better motor i like the Nuke...
