Most engines will last about 4 -5 gal before having to be rebuilt or replaced regardless of where you live.

The key to long engine life is proper maintenance and proper tuning.

Uhhh the last time I looked, a full sized pickup bed was 8' by 6' . And the last time I saw a picture of the Ute (Oz's #1 selling suv) it had a 6' bed on it. and the sedan version only had a 4' bed....
