You fried your steering FETs. If you can see, your steering FETs are right next to the CLL light plugs. Use that EP I sent you. :)

Hey, I can probably fix it for you. I had a board sent to me awhile back with the same issue the FET had fried and destroyed the FET solder pad too. I used a jumper wire and fixed it. If you are handy with a soldering iron and take a pic I can walk you through the repair, or, I can do it for you.

A light kit did this damage? I thought about putting a light kit on mine, should i reconsider? Or is there something to do to prevent damage to the fet's?

BTW what does "FET" stand for, i know what they do just didnt know what it meant.

I dont think you should worry about it, just be careful. Light kits shouldn't cause this providing there is no exposed wires or mistakes during the installation. I might note that the steering FETs are on the same circuit as some of the light kit plug leads (pins), therefore, crossing them accidentally or shorting the plug leads together while the power is on could short a steering FET causing damage. I know this is true because the damaged FET on the board I spoke of I jumped the FET leg to a light kit plug lead that had continuance with that particular FET leg which in turn fixed the steering on that board. This means that shorting a light kit wire or something could create the same result if you use the command logic light kit plugs for your light kit installation.

If the batteries were in it then that will do it. Do you have a decent camera? Seeing the damage will allow me to tell the extent of the damage.
