Look at my rubber! Indycar tires
 

I have no use but to stack them all fancy in my garage, but I picked up a pair of free Yokohama Indy racing tires that were ran in the 2001 Houston Grand Prix. Their HUGE!!! They fit a 15" rim, but the rears are almost 20" wide, and the fronts are close to 15" wide! Holy crap! To be in person it really puts things into perspective. Especially when you consider with the overall diameter of the tires. The Indy cars really don't sit up much over the tops of their wheels, and these things are short! Front and rear are both about the same diameter, and come in around 20" tall, less than 2 feet.

I see no Indy car tires, but the signed Tom Petty "The king" NASCAR tires only go for like 70ish. I'll figure something for them.

I could put them in my room, if I had room. They'd go nice with the bench-seat-couch from the CST10's original seat.

I sprayed them down with amor-all tire cleaner, and their glass now! Also found a round piece of glass for a table-top, and I'll see how if fits in my room in place of another table. The glass is like privacy glass, Translucent, so I'll probably toss a light under it to have it light up some.

I thought they burned those tires... Or do they only do that for NASCAR?...
