One off metal gear...
It's part of another project, but I thought it was off-topic enough to warrant it's own thread.

Still needs some work, but my ADD was kicking in. More info to come, but I felt like sharing... :D |
Do you find the solder to be strong enough to withstand the normal pressure of any other gear? I find even metal gears (aluminum/steel) become stripped and warped after normal circumstances; I'll be amazed if this "silver-solder" gear will be able to undergo the same environment without deforming.
Certainly an ingenious concept, however. Way to use your 'noggin, imstock. |
cool.. how are you gunna cut off the extra metal/solder?
|
uhh what are you useing this gear for?
