Check your 9v. See if the antenna's are screwed in properly. Try driving it outside, you might have some interference somewhere in the house. You could even try different controllers or crystals too.

Make sure the crystals are in right.......

You might have fried the range some how....:nodno:

I dont think it's fried range. Fried range goes about 3-4ft... Check the voltage of the 9v. It might be new, but might not be good.

If you used like pharmacy brand 9v sometimes they aren't good quality. If you race around in a house, especially a kitchen, there is mucho interference. This may sound stupid, but is your antenna screwed in good? That can cause it too. If not, check for fried range. Fried range gets worse over time.

on the car or truck make sure that the antenna is screwed in nice and tight

hey to add to this is a car with a fried range slower than one without??? my mustang seems less torquey then anyof my other chassies

GearHeadV8 08-23-2008 05:33 PM

if the speed and tourqe is bad take apart the motor look to see if the brushes are worn down

merc3des 08-23-2008 06:33 PM

Yea, you ay have damaged the brushes. Doesn't help if you run the motor to the point where it is super hot.
