a mono shock. it stiffens the chassis a little.

XMDrifter 01-02-2007 12:16 PM

just use one shock between the two rear arms.

Calsonic-Skypra 01-02-2007 01:09 PM

ok.. ermmmmmm howcan i do this? glue or some thing?

Luk3 01-02-2007 01:46 PM

ok you have the evo right? well buy the suspension upgrade, and then once you put on the new suspension use one of the green ones that came off the car, thatll make it much easier for you..

kataklysm 01-02-2007 01:48 PM

He has a gen 1 not an evo

Calsonic-Skypra 01-02-2007 02:06 PM

yea this is for GEN1 not one of my evos i have my evos tuned, i wanted to know how to make it faster or something.. thas all, can any1 tell me how to use only 1 shock on the back?

EDIT:
to below mr.ferrari lol hows this sposed to help? ill just doo what i did to my skyline.. put bluetak arroung my shocks n springs to make um ULTRA stiff, unless n e 1 has any ideas

ferrarip4.5 01-02-2007 02:09 PM

i tried to do a mono shock with gen 1 but the arms are too long, unless you cut the spring or something...

civicblack10 01-04-2007 08:05 PM

you need to file down the upper halves of the shocks, im not good at explaining, ( its the part that screws into the arm) and then turn them so there are facing each other and put a spring from one to the other

ferrarip4.5 01-04-2007 09:31 PM

ya but what if he decides to go back to the independent configuration? springs are cheaper than the part it self.

If i'm not mistaken, bypassing the on/off switch, even on a stock xmod will gain a little more current in the circuit that is lost going thru the on/off switch. Only downfall, u have to remove your batteries to turn it off. The guide for this is on www.atomicmods.com

Calsonic-Skypra 01-09-2007 04:00 PM

ok, ill try some of this stuff, but the arms, i didnt wanna actually file anystuff down or glue anything, incase i wanted to sell it later on, like as stock or something
