time for a rebuild!
 
ok i kno alot of you guys have seen my 99 chevy silverado

well i got tired of having a massive truck with alot of chassis showing, today i got really bored, quit runescape and gave the acc to my sister and got to work on making a lowrider out of the truck, i guess i'll just call it "lowride"

special thanks to blue504 for telling us about the paint remover! (thats wat turned my hood white again)

for paint im thinking candy apple purple and i will nee to cut out the bed and make a bed cover.

I just used Catrol brake fluid on a mini-z body and it worked fine.

quick update, got the paint off, and i did a quick hack job on the chassis with the dremal. next i go to work on building the truck bed cover, i think in going to use an old xmod case.

double post again..... i knew i was not going to get many comments but just wow... am i doing something wrong? should i ask a mod to delete the thread so it does not take up space?

anyways... i got the truck bed sanded and almost perfect :) as you mite be able to see the right side had a dip in it, but thank god for bondo!

nice bed cover its looking pretty good. dont ask a mod to delete it just keep posting it. your doin a pretty good job on it so far, how low are you gonna have the truck sitting? and a dark purplish i dont think would be too bad

thanks, lol i just relized this is the first xmod project i've posted on here :o im going to try and make it as low as possible and still have full steering, im not so sure about color yet, but i really like this car

why not just combine it. drop the body as low as the first on and paint it the second one?

yea i like the darker blue alittle better then the lighter one dont just keep lookin around too much now, you might never decide then.

well since in going back to school i have not been getting home until 6:00, the project will be put slightly on hold until the weekend, i also get paid this weekend so i will be able to get paint, rims etc..
