project: completely custom 69 camaro
 

heres what i have done so far.

stage 2 evo motor.
truckin rims and tires.
lightweight reduction.
new, faster responding servo.

as soon as i find the body for it im going to sand it and paint it.


i will post pics as soon as i get them.



if anyone has any ideas on how to make this project better please let me know.

found out that kmart has a very large collection of models and you might want to check out there.

I was thinking it would be cool to do a tribute to the general lee. hopefully you kno wat that is. so that is one idea. atomic mods has a cool blower that gets hooked up to at the same spot as the motor but that wouldnt look to god on the ol' general.

oh yeah. i know all about the general lee. I LIVE IN KENTUCKY. lmao. but yeah.. its a camaro. im thinking about doing the yenko camaro from 2 fast 2 furious. and i need suggestions on what type of paint to use as well.

if you want a rare camaro to do i would say the 69 RSS in white and blue RSS stripes on it IMO

that would look nice. so now my choices for paint are

orange/white stripes.
white/blue stripes.
yenko camaro from 2 fast 2 furious.

*edit. where can i get hinges small enough to do my doors and hood without ordering them. and if someone would like to donate 3-4 hinges to my project that would be greatly appreciated.

that is an idea. i also saw a 3-way hinge on the internet but that would mean ordering. but that 3-way hinge lets you open a hood like 5 different ways

yeah that would be sick.i havent done anything really custom to an xmod except for my f-150 thats junk now, and all i done to it was painted it, and put 3 extra batteries on it. but im trying to do as much to the camaro as i can without messing anything up badly.

yea went and bought a 71 charger this morning and started it... then i remembered to check the size and it was 1:25... so now it is gonna be a model and i am gonna get a new one but probably a 69 so... yea.

what ever u do i would definatly put rally strips on iot no camaro or chevelle looks good without em
