mudslinger 02-07-2008 09:40 PM

spartanman 02-07-2008 09:41 PM

one thing get pics and try a new screw if not then i don't know i don't know much about trucks sorry

mudslinger 02-07-2008 09:44 PM

its just a normal screw...and i dont wanna break the thing so i wont put too much pressure on it but it just wont come out and i can take a pic of it if you want

spartanman 02-07-2008 09:44 PM

pics would be nice so you cant get the screw out

AJB32690 02-07-2008 09:47 PM

What screwdriver are you using? If you are using the xmods screwdriver, then thats your problem right there. Youre much better off getting a set of mini screwdrivers, or if you can find one, an xmods tool set.

THE EDJ 02-07-2008 09:49 PM

use a real screw driver, the ones that come with the starter kit really suck and tend to strip out the screws pretty easily. you want to use one with a pretty similar profile to the end, but use something with a bigger handle to get that much needed power.

and welcome to the forum. don't let the new guys fool you, we have a lot of good information here, along with a lot of really knowledgable xmodders. we're all here to learn, so I hope you do well for yourself here.

spartanman 02-07-2008 09:50 PM

hey edj are you talking about me?

mudslinger 02-07-2008 09:59 PM

yea i got half of a mini screwdriver set and a 186 piece tool set with some screw driver heads idk i got tools for real trucks mainly no little tools...

spartanman 02-07-2008 10:01 PM

oh ya you should really get the xmod tool set. but i use a regular screw driver and it works so i don't know maybe it is striped somehow the pics are really blurry man.
