pro pulse or radline?
so what should i get? don't say traxxas, i don't have the money, and i don't live in a good area for full out hobby grade.
Neither. I have a propulse and it sucks so I ran it through a puddle. Get a Mini-t
NEVER Get a Pro-Pulse. They will cause you to spend tons of money and are a huge waste of money. I own one and have gone through so many troubles. Radlines...I don't know much about them. I know noturday knows lots about them. I always thought about buying one, but never decided to. Or a Micro T, something to look into. I have a Micro Desert Truck and I bash mine, and love it to bits.

There's a thread about getting into 18th scale. ;) |
mini t's aren't tall enough, too much grass here. i prolly will get a radline.
If you think mini-ts are to low think about this radlines are a lot smaller and ive never seen one up close but I doubt that they have much clearence but, mini-ts are only 2wd.
how much moneyz you have?
Go for a radline they are fity bucks at target.
i have $104, but i don't want anything until i get at least $150.
Get a hobby grade radline. Atomic mods has the cheapest price.
They are fun, pull wheelies right out of the box, come stock with a 180 sized motor, bearings and the ability to switch to an HS55 servo with no modification. The cons are the diffs are a bit weak, they bump steer a bit, and the bodies aren't very attractive looking. Any body/model with a similar wheelbase as the H2 hummer will fit on a radline tho. Atomic mods price 75.00 to my door, which is the same cost as the target one+bearings.. so it breaks even immeadiately and has better electronics. Hope that helps. |
if i were you, i'd check into a mini-t or mini-baja...i actually got a mini-lst, it was very inexpensive and is really fun to play with
i could drop my deal for my tc3 and sell you my mini-t with a few upgrades, and they can travel on grass pretty good.
If you go for a radline. Get the master series from atomic mods not the elite from target. The diffrences: master has metal bearings already installed, has a 180 motor stock with a piece to change to a 130 and it is easier to install a hs-55. THe bearings are a pain to install.(i still don't have all my bearings installed).
