I see standard SO-8 throttle FETs. You can upgrade those!

TheB1GDude 05-15-2010 03:21 PM

I would loose the motor and replace it with something the same size but brand named...

The do the FET upgrade like Action B suggests and you should be rocking, shouldn't be that hard to fab something out of plexi / alu and get a working RC.

kbekbe 05-15-2010 04:21 PM

thats all i have and i can get upgrades or anything
i want to know how to fab a back axle and front steering that would be compatible with the servo

Update:
i was thinking that i wanted lights on this car in the future so i took off the red button on the transmitter and switched it with a switch
pics:

i soldered the switch onto the two bar
if you look underneath the board you can see the original button

here is a broad view of the board in the transmitter

so erm, im not so sure the swicth is going to work because of the wiring, does it?

kbekbe 05-16-2010 05:39 PM

yea i tested it out right after i put it together

winner 05-16-2010 06:21 PM

so does it actually turn the pwer on the transmitter on and off?

kbekbe 05-16-2010 06:53 PM

no it doesnt do that it can leave a motor runing or lights on without holding down any buttons
