zonda R ....mini-z project
thanks to my good buddy kryten for pointing me in the right direction for the parts i needed i have made a start on my zonda-R project
this is my goal http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...tos/zondaR.jpg removed the body from the "toy" and cut off the front spliter and rear air **** from the chassis http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/DSC00638.jpg next came the wheels , mini-z ones are way to small looking so onto the lathe and a bit of custom work http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/DSC00639.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/DSC00640.jpg http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/DSC00636.jpg just need to make a front clip and mount the rear ones but i think she sits pretty nice http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...s/DSC00637.jpg |
as i said before...awesome body...definitely a mini-z that should have been made
if you decide to paint the nose to match the goal would you also end up painting the area around the cockpit as well? think they have those same toys over here? LOL |
That's sexy............
|
That's a very clean hack-job you did on the body! What toy model did you get it from?
|
Man that thing looks sick! I like that color too.
|
Woah, thats really cool, super rare body, I've never even seen a toy Zonda before
|
Thatīs a nice one!
Hope you donīt get trouble with the rear damper...:-? |
