REDisFASTER 01-13-2008 12:33 PM

Wow... A Nitro RS4 RTR... I saw that thing in RCCA mag back in '97, when I first started gaining interest in this!

And the standard RTR Tx wasn't even the Blazer yet!

You got a good deal man, take care of it.
Nice truck, you should maybe paint it a diff color than red...looks kinda funky..

JDMDUDE 01-13-2008 02:40 PM

thats a nice nitro car you have there

SPR 01-14-2008 03:25 PM

Niicee!! you'll love it. great car!

but one question, why would you buy it to never drive it? lol

just dont break it in in the cold winter with out propper warming techniques or your going to over heat in the summer.

REDisFASTER 01-14-2008 04:05 PM

Though I'm not a big fan of HPI, if I won that thing for less than or equal to $100, I would probably drive it... If near $200, than its a shelf queen, NIB.

But that's just me, since that thing was from around the same era as when I started getting into hobby-grade.

In 98' I was 3! No Truck body! Aww, too bad. What kinda Porsche? Did he rip you off? You could report it to eBay. Also is it nitro or electric.

Well sorry, I couldn't see it at the time. I see an engine in there now.

taiwanesekid05 01-23-2008 09:31 PM

I say drive it. Not much fun if you have a RC car that only collects dust.

kungpow420 01-23-2008 09:54 PM

umm this may be a stupid thing to ask but did all the hpi cars back then come with airtronics reciever? Im asking this because my savage has a hpi reciever.

Not sure on that one maybe someone else knows

REDisFASTER 01-24-2008 12:16 AM

Not sure about that era of R/C cars... The Airtronics Blazer era (where most RTRs from many companies had Airtronics Blazers) had 27MHz AM receivers from Airtronics. I believe that yours should have come with an Airtronics receiver originally, since the radio on the box was the old-old-old Airtronics RTR radio.
