gen 1 tight turns

Does anyone (Sweed??? Tex??? Bondo??? ) know the value of the resistor used in the tight turns mod for a gen 1? I'm not paying some online company to pack a resistor in a box and over inflate the price for me. Please dont respond with "I think its" please. I guess i would also need to know which 2 servo wires said resistor is hooked to.....Thanks.

It should be stamped on the resistor...if not use an ohm meter.

ok but im pretty sure i dont have a ohm meter

I'm using 2.2k ohm 1/4 watt resistors in my Skyline. They're a bit smaller and easier to pack in behind the servo.

But they wouldnt make the same difference...

I dont have an ohm meter either, but you can ask the person and they can tell you...or it should say somewhere on the package or maybe even on the resistor itslef...

It should make no difference. it should be printed right on the package. I like the 2.2K ohm because of the size.

I just came home from rs and the resistors package, there was the number of ohm behind the box but there was so much and all the resistors looked the same...i have no clue how to figure it out wich one are the 3.3k ohm?

you need the ones that are cloered orange, orange, red, gold... these are 3.3

ive even installed a couple with the 4.7k resistors, they are yellow, violet, red, gold.
